The Najah Ayoub Foundation was founded in 2010 to honour the memory of our beloved "Sunshine", Naj.
We're so proud of the support we've received from the community to become hosts of Ottawa's largest charity poker tournament.
Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers and the matching of some of our donations, the NAF group has helped bring in $850,000 for various causes. In addition, over $300,000 has been awarded to players! Our events have resulted in contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, building a school in Haiti, providing books and supplies to children in the Middle-East and starting farms in Africa; Truly a global impact.
The vast majority, however, has stayed local with the Ottawa Hospital (OH) .
Special thanks to the OH for honouring our foundation with the dedication of the Najah Ayoub Patient Consultation Room and announcing the dedication of a new patient room in the soon-to-be-built Civic campus.
Feb 23, 2025 will be a very special day for us. It's the day of our Sunshine Poker Tournament where we hope to cross the $1,000,000 mark in funds raised for charity!
